IMPACT INTRO

This program is for players who have little to no experience beyond volleyball in gym class at school. This program teaches the fundamentals of volleyball through a mix of instruction, drills and game play each class. Players should expect to be in this program for 2-3 full seasons. After 2 full seasons/ Coach recommendation, they may move Impact Improve. Geared towards grades 5 and 6.

IMPACT IMPROVE

 

SESSION #1 (Grade 7 and 8)

This program is for players in grade 7 and 8 who have some volleyball experience (Impact Intro, Other clubs programs) or have played on their school team. Impact Improve has the same format and curriculum as Impact Intro (e.g., teaches the fundamentals of volleyball through a mix of instruction, drills and game play each class) but within a group of more experienced participants. This session of Impact Improve is for participants in grades 7 and 8 - pending experience level.

 

PLEASE NOTE: If the coach feels an athlete needs to be moved into a more skill appropriate program, they will inform parents after the FIRST session

IMPACT IGNITE

This program is for players who have gone 3 full seasons through the Impact Improve program, have played on their school team and are looking for increased skill development with the goal of trying out for a rep team. Impact Ignite has the similar format and curriculum as Impact Improve (e.g., expands on the fundamentals of volleyball through a mix of instruction, drills and game play each class) but within a group of more experienced participants. Impact Ignite is ideal for athletes who are in grades 8 & 9, who are looking for extended volleyball instruction,  who are strong members (starters)of their school team or who already have very good volleyball skills. Participants will get the chance to train and compete with peers with similar interests
